For Each Related Object

For Each Related Object runs the steps after it, up to End For Each, once for each of the record's related records, like a project's tasks, up to 1,000.

Settings

• Related Objects: which relationship, like "A Project has many Tasks".
• Only Where: filters that narrow them down, like tasks whose status is To Do, In Progress, or Blocked. Without filters, every related record runs the steps.

How it works

• After End For Each, the steps act on the original record again.
• When the steps inside only change fields and save, every related record is changed in one request. A loop with only a Delete step deletes every related record in one request too.
• Filters only work on searchable fields, and the field linking the related records back must be searchable too. The editor flags filters that won't work.
