Smart blocks that surface live data from your records
Widgets are special layout blocks that go beyond displaying a single field value. They compute and visualize data across your records, showing live aggregates, trends, and dynamic headings that update automatically as your data changes.
Widgets are ideal for dashboards, detail page headers, and anywhere you need a high-level view of your data rather than a raw list of records.
Where to use widgets
- Dashboards: combine multiple Stat and Chart widgets in a Grid block to build a full KPI view for your team.
- Detail layouts: use a Header widget at the top of any record detail page to show the record's identifying name or number.
- Summary sections: embed a Stat widget inside a detail layout to show a related aggregate, like the total invoice value for a specific customer.
Pair a Stat widget with a Chart widget directly below it to show both the current total and the historical trend side by side.
