Save

Save saves the record's unsaved changes, like the fields an earlier Set Field step changed, or the changes someone made while editing, and stops editing.

This step has no settings.

How it works

• In a modal an earlier step opened, saving closes the modal and the steps continue.
• Inside a loop, Set Field followed by Save changes every record in one request.
• If saving fails, like when a required field is empty, the steps stop and an error is shown.

Examples

• A Save workflow shown only while editing: just Save, with Show Only When Editing on.
• Save and Close in a modal: Save, then Close Modal.
