Go to Page

Go to Page goes to another page. Since the page changes, nothing can come after it.

Settings

• Destination:
  • Object Page: the page of the record the step acts on, like a record an earlier step created.
  • Layout: one of your layouts.
  • External URL: any web address. It can include placeholders, like mailto:{field:email} or a search for {field:name}.
• Start Editing When Opened: for an object page, opens the record ready to edit.

How it works

A workflow with only a Go to Page step is a real link, so people can open it in a new tab.

Examples

• Create and Open: Create Object, then Go to Page (Object Page).
• Email: Go to Page with an External URL like mailto:{field:email}.
