Only Continue If

Only Continue If stops the workflow unless records match filters, like a project having open tasks. The steps before it are kept.

Settings

• Check: what to check: this record, the list's records, or the record's related records, like a project's tasks.
• Passes When: when at least one record matches the filters, or when none do.
• Filters: what the records are checked for.
• Message When It Stops: optional, like "This project has no open tasks to move." It can include placeholders.

How it works

• Stopping keeps what the steps before it did, unlike cancelling.
• Inside a loop, it stops the steps for that record, and the loop moves on.
• Fields asked for by steps after it aren't asked for when it won't pass.

To skip a single step instead of stopping, add a condition to that step. See Conditions.
